Who we are

With over 30 years of experience in the rail travel industry, International Rail is one of the oldest and most trusted rail travel and technology providers in the business. We have more rail contracts with rail companies globally than anyone else and can cover almost any point to point journey anywhere in the world and most rail pass combinations. For over 10 years we have been working with Travel Management Companies and Tour Operators such as American Express, CTM, Kuoni and Inghams to provide both booking technology and access to the best rail fares and availability.

International Rail Ltd., started life as Holland Rail, firstly providing marketing support for Netherlands Railways and then going on to become its sole agent and distributor in the UK in 1994. Since then the Company has gone from strength to strength and has become agent and distributor for almost all the major rail networks in the world. In 2012 we won the fulfilment and after sales contract for Rail Delivery Group’s myInterrail.co.uk and then later went onto win the contract to become the official supplier of international rail tickets for Rail Staff Travel Ltd.

We have always put a strong and equal focus on partnerships and technology which enables us to offer a unique service. We were the first UK company to adopt @tlantis (still widely recognised to be the most complete European rail booking system) and worked in partnership with SNCB in 2002 to bring it to the UK. Since then we have gone onto build 1track which offers online booking (live wherever possible) across most of the world.

Our head office is in Hampshire in the UK and we have call centres in both Hampshire and Romania.
